To keep these folds in their place, we will sew them with needle and thread again. Follow the same steps for all the 8 feet long strips.
Tufting is a technique of creating carpets, or multi-needle looms using machines which are directed by computers, to create various styles and patterns of carpet using synthetic yarns. Tufts are basically yarn fibers, either of natural fabric or synthetic base. Hundreds of needles stitch a number of rows of carpet yarn tufts through a backing fabric called the primary backing. The needles push the yarn through a primary backing fabric, where a loop holds the yarn in place to form a tuft as the needle is removed. These tufts project from the surface of the base, and may be loops, as in a Berber carpet, or the loops are cut using blades to create a cut pile carpet. The tufted carpet has a reputation of being sturdy and durable for a long time.
You can use a bamboo mat to make a screen. You will need about 3-4 mats depending on the area you want to cover. They look really nice as a partition in your drawing room or even surrounding your lawn or in your pool area.
Many people tend to overlook the importance of rotating their rugs. This means that it is essential that you change its position as frequently as possible. If you observe it closely, you will notice that areas that have a high foot traffic tend to be more worn out and dirtier than other areas. To ensure that the wear and tear of the carpet is uniform throughout, keep rotating it once in 6-10 months.
