Sisal is a naturally occurring fiber that is taken from the leaves of the agave sisalana which is a cactus plant that grows in regions of Brazil and Africa. Sisal fibers are long-lasting with respect to durability and reliable, making it a great material to work with, being strong and a much-liked option for rugs and household carpets. It is both decorative and completely organic in its make, with no room for toxicity and static troubles. It can really turn around the look of a home giving it a rustic, yet modern appeal when the sisal carpet's colors are experimented with.
Now place the carpet (runner) along the entire staircase. Starting from bottom, tie the carpet to the tack strips, step-by-step. Fix it permanently in place using a hammer, in the corners where it will be folded. Stretch it into place using a knee kicker or a seaming iron. Repeat this at each tread before attaching the carpet to the tack strip on the next tread.
With each spokes, tie them to the spiral shaped rug from the top. This way, the rug won't become loose overtime.
